Meet our care team

Our nurses and healthcare assistants provide care and practical support in people’s homes, in the community and across our services.

Our Nursing Team

Our nurses support each person’s health and wellbeing as part of their individual care arrangements. They work with the person, their family and other professionals to plan care, respond to changing needs and support everyday life.

Nursing support is matched to each person’s assessed needs and agreed care plan, with dignity, choice and clear communication at the centre.

Our Healthcare Assistants

Our healthcare assistants provide day-to-day care and practical support shaped around each person’s needs, preferences and routines. This may include personal care, support at home, activities and taking part in community life.

Their focus is on building trusted relationships, encouraging independence and helping people make choices about their own lives, while respecting privacy and dignity.

Listening and learning

An independent perspective

DMAC is establishing an External Advisory Board to bring together the perspectives of people who use our services, family members, community representatives and professionals.

The board will provide feedback and advice to help inform our strategy, service development and continuous improvement. It will complement the responsibilities of our Directors and Person in Charge.
